Property Tax or Paying Rent to the Government?

Property Tax is not a money issue. It is an issue of liberty and freedom. I say in the the United states that the thought of Land or Home ownership is an illusion.

How can one truly ever own land or a home if the government can take that property as payment of taxes? Taxing ones property is taxing their very existence.

This is just another example of government sticking their hands in our pockets. I have no problem paying taxes for support of the roads and such service that I use but why must the very spot I rest my head at night be put up as collateral.

"Tea Party" One Major Understatement

Main stream media doesn't seem to understand what the "Tea Party" really is. They continue to try and group the protesters as a Political Party, such as republicans or democrats but the simple truth is, the so called "Tea Party" isn't such.

2012 Presidential Elections

Tuesday, November 6, 2012. That is the date of the next presidential election.

What will be the outcome? With the date a little over two years away, you can bet that presidential hopefuls will be staging their position, and getting out in front of the cameras more and more, if they have declared or not is of little issue.

Already the talk has started, should Obama run again or step aside for another democrat candidate. Many say that it will depend on weather his popularity level can rise in the polls.

Time to End the Department of Education

The Department of Education is a complete failure. The thought that the education of our children should be planned by a central authority is ridiculous and insulting.

The Moral Debate

Perhaps the above statement sounds crazy to you. With Federal money comes federal regulations and federal control. Local schools must adhere to the mandates of The doED in order to keep the federal funding coming in. These mandates can decide everything from the curriculum, the books schools choose, the faculty they employ.

Open Public Debate with Politicians Online - Why Not Yet?

Try to chat with your local representatives lately? Though some now use twitter, Facebook and other popular social media, it hardly sparks new ideas from the people.

It is sad that in this day and age that we are left to submit a contact form or send a letter, hoping not to get a "one size fits all" response, let alone an actual thoughtful heart-felt position that takes into account anything you asked them.
